This is arguing in bad faith. Just because the kernel does that doesn’t mean it does that in everywhere else.
replyThe point is that there are security implications to not zeroing out memory, even if it costs performance. Making an argument that it’s too performance sensitive to do anything doesn’t actually hold water.
