replyAmericans like to clown on the EU, but consumer protections and privacy laws don’t magically pop up on their own, and businesses don’t all magically act in the consumers’ best interests unless they are legally made to.
The number of big innovations out of the EU in the past 25 years also rounds to 0. Don't fool yourself into believing the two things are unrelated.
