replyIt's not off-topic to suggest using something other than social media to communicate in a thread about social media silencing speech.
replyConsumer activism is trash. Wait until you can't file your taxes without facebook. Not using Uber won't bring taxis back, you'll just end up walking.
replyI say this as someone who closed my facebook account 15 years ago, and who never opened an Uber account.
One of the points of consumer articulation is to prevent incentives to being "unable to file without facebook". And, where I live, taxis still exist, although as expensive as before.
