replyPeople can spend money how they wish. SamA is a prick, so I don’t buy from his company. I don’t buy from Microsoft or Oracle either. Giving a company your money is explicitly supporting them and everything they do. Are you going to force me to buy products from people I don’t agree with?
Being a “prick” is completely inconsequential compared to the massive harm that anthropics views could create.
