replyGlad I clicked that Wikipedia link! Chinese curse... I'd always been told it was an old Bedouin curse. Learn somethin' new every day (still to this day, and every new day until I become physically incapable of learning).
replyFor years I had heard it was an Arab curse, which is partly why I’m sharing.
replyAnd I got it as a Roman curse (or from Roman times). That is common with old sayings.
