That's because the left isn't interested in healing until the right stops saying "this class of people doesn't deserve basic human rights", and the right isn't interested in healing until the left is convinced white ultra-conservatives are the master race.

There's no plurality on "the right" that holds the perspectives you're attributing to them. What you've stated is the pristine modern example of propaganda and is exactly why there is no healing.
