I use both now and agree they're basically interchangeable.

replyWhat settings have you tried since it "became more opaque"? They've got a lot more settings now.
replyCC went from sane defaults in late 2025 to feature scope creep early 2026. So more features might be good, but sounds like an ick for me. But I have zero prestige, I might switch back.
