Aren’t quants and what you would usually refer to as “investment bankers” pretty different groups of people?
replyAbsolutely. The quants have legitimate skills. The ibs mostly just got lucky with the big internship junior year that set themselves up for life.
replyThey didn’t get lucky except to the extent they were born into a fourth generation Ivy League family.
