To me, "my server is now..." implies there was some server, it used to do server things, but now it has been repurposed to do something else.

Agreed, a more appropriate title might be “my server now runs on a phone”

I meant it from the server’s perspective: VPS before, phone now. The article clears up any ambiguity pretty quickly.
replyWithout reading the article, the original title made me think it was going to be related to voip or telephony somehow. Not using a phone as a server.
