For starters Metal Shading Language is based on C++14, so naturally any C++17 will fail.

replyI mean "any C++ codebase" doesn't make sense in general. I run C++23 code on ESP32, that doesn't mean I'm gonna build KDE or chrome for it, and that doesn't make it any less C++.
