That's the whole gambit here: use the system and media to paint a pretty picture of <person so terrible they need PR>, trust that some non-trivial amount of the population will buy it, deny any wrong-doing publicly or on record. Hope they don't come for your head. Rinse and repeat.

No im not. I'm not protecting him and i'm quite disappointed that his good reputation is gone because of it. Before Epstein details, he became a lot more helpful to the society (ebola for example).

But "Presumption of innocence" is a real thing.

And it doesn't change the fact, that Bill Gates still for sure is knowledgable and probably relevant enough to read what he thinks
