This was my entire point.

It's not the screens, it what you do with the screens.

We do not need to reduce our lives to that of Luddites - we do not need to throw the baby out with the bathwater and avoid all screen use - just because people are addicted to social media or short-form video content.

They're not addicted to the screens, they're addicted to YouTube/tiktok/twitter/whatever.
