Condos are for the middle class. Landed property is the status symbol (but, alas, it doesn't start with a C.)

In the 80s and 90s when the housing market was more immature, I believe condos and landed property were around the same price, and condos were seen as somewhat more prestigious because it came with private facilities.
replyProbably. The classic 5 Cs are quite out of date in general: a credit card is no longer a status symbol, when anyone can get one.
