replySame here. The new macOS'es always seem to add more restrictions, more bloat, etc nowadays. I was thinking of upgrading the other day; glad I didn't.

The main reason I'm on Sequoia is the low contrast UI with the invisible resize points. The "intelligence" taking up space and probably having no off button is secondary.
