It's actually worse, because if you know what to ask, the books and professors will give you information you can generally take to be reasonably reliable; and if you don't know what to ask, you'll either not find the information in books or potentially be guided towards a better question by professors. With LLMs, you can be given incorrect information in either case, but especially in the latter case with way higher frequency than you would with books or professors.
