“Most” is hyperbolic but it’s a real problem in any system designed for peer to peer hosting or sharing.
replyIf the system is truly distributed it means you might not be able to participate without hosting or transmitting CSAM.
It’s also been used as a deliberate attack, which is known as “pissing in the pool.” Flood the system with CSAM and copyright infringement.
Most P2P video system make you seed only the video you started watching, thus making the point about transmitting csam moot.
replyIf I search for The Best of Both Worlds but open the video to find it's csam and not st:tng then I've unwittingly started watching, and thus potentially seeding, the csam.
