I love Debian for servers still but man Bazzite (atomic Fedora) has been a dream these past years for my gaming PC and laptop. Astoundingly it “just works” in every regard and is rock solid. With the advent of LLMs automating away all the minutiae of caring for a desktop environment I feel like I have died and gone to heaven.
replyReal. With Claude/Codex any trivial issue you have on Linux is solved in like 2 minutes flat. I run CachyOS on my gaming rig (12700k, 7900xtx) and it has worked flawlessly (Arc Raiders, Titanfall, Palworld, Robocop, Cyberpunk) but I will probably play with bazzite some day just to dogfood it.
