It's great that they developed alternatives to Node, I was just getting annoyed with all the users trying to bait in more users like "why don't you use [Deno/Bun], it's completely compatible" when it's not. Same with all the Python interpreters besides CPython.
replyThe ones that actually care about JIT in the box are attractive because of that, thankfully CPython is finally taking having a JIT in the box seriously.
replyThat and other advantages gave them real uses. Some of them had freethreading earlier. Some were just faster. But people overstated how easy it was to switch.
