Isn't exactly the beauty of IRC that one person doing something to one node in the network isn't affecting the rest at all?
replyI can't be bothered to sign up for both libera and oftc. When everything was on freenode, you didn't have to jump through any hoops just to ask a question.
replyYou don't need to "sign up". You just open your client, connect to the server and ask your question.
replyall of the Freenode staff just rebranded as Libera Chat, bought a new domain and continued on as usual.
