I'd reframe the question slightly. It has less to do with bias and more to do with experience. Anyone with experience to judge AI matters is likely going to be vaguely pro-AI in the first place, otherwise they wouldn't be qualified to answer.

Those that are opposed to AI development in principle, or have dealt only with its worst consequences, like neverending PR-slop, are going to have trouble engaging due to a lack of experience.
