Intelligent people are often stupid.
replyOr, more accurately, people make stupid mistakes when they lack the experience. Intelligent people often succumb to the fallacy that because they can learn things quickly, they can skip the learning part just figure things out as they go.
It’s good to remember that we rarely hear about the smart people who carefully thought through their crimes and then executed them well.
