As if there was somehow a lack of LGBT representation on TV these days. At least on German TV is seems like every show, quiz show, whatever has these "quota" characters.

replyBut honestly I think most localized TV experiences are awkward. Switzerland barely is tho, that's clean and boring in a way but rarely awkward.
Why, do you think it's that much worse than American TV, or that much better? In absolute terms it is embarrassing, but I would say so is US TV.
