Many of this tools primary aim is to even the scales. If bot spends less energy its a cost for the provider. If bots spend same or more energy compared to provider who designed it for human consumption then its fair. Its about balancing the scales and for a small website, ecommerce or content provider who runs a small scale operation, its imperative to control the costs as they have limited compute, memory and bandwidth budget.
