Agreed. I don't know what niche of software dev that is but we pay our graduates more than that

It's the reality when everybody uses AI to slop out a JD (which is only marginally better than before — where the poor sucker just human-slopped out something instead)

There are job ads in Canada for "senior" devs at non-tech shops for $70-$90k. There are signs you'd be the only dev at the shop (or one of very few)
